Shocking, but it is still common practice in the Hot Rod Industry to find a shock based on just length, with little or no attention being paid to the valving in the shock, Is it going on an independent or straight axle vehicle? How big is the vehicle? Is there proper suspension travel? There is alot more to finding the proper shock then length.
